I have been married to my loving wife Lisa for 33 years and we have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I am the Project Design Manager at Deister Machine Company and have been with them for 37 years.
Thanks to my parents and grandparents I was raised in a Christian family and have attended a church regularly most of my life, except for a dark time in my 20’s when I fell away from the church. Once Lisa and I began to attend regularly again I started to feel that this is where I belonged and my faith really started to grow. One of the biggest leaps of faith in my life came 10 years ago when a group of fellow believers left our old church and started Sovereign Redeemer Church in Harlan. My love for the Lord has grown exponentially since then due in part to the 3 wonderful Pastor’s that we have had, especially Pastor Eddie. You can really feel the Lord at work in our amazing church.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
Seth and his wife Betsey both grew up in northeast Allen county and have been blessed with a daughter and two sons.
A sinner saved by grace, Seth's desire is to grow in faith and love in Christ and serve Jesus obediently in his kingdom.
Together, Seth and Betsey are committed to serving God by serving his people, wherever called and however needed. It is their goal to be used by the Holy Spirit to encourage other believers to be strong in their faith and to share the good news of Christ with those who have never heard the gospel.
Seth and Betsey are excited to be a part of Sovereign Redeemer Church, where all of life is viewed through the lens of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible. Seth has been continually struck by a question that Jesus asked, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" (Matthew 16:26)
What could be more profitable than living in the grace of God through what Jesus has accomplished in his life, death, and resurrection? Seth strives to live and lead with this in mind, knowing that this world is passing by but the church of God will endure forever.

Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods."
